BIOGRAPHY

Asaf Goldstein is an Israeli artist and actor who creates hand-painted pixel artworks.
Using acrylic paint and a palette knife, he constructs each piece from thousands of
individual squares of color that come together to form a complete image.
His extensive background as an actor, along with his connection to the worlds of theater
and cinema, influences his choice of iconic figures and moments. His work brings
together the digital language of pixels and the material quality of traditional painting:
from a distance, the image emerges, while up close, the colors, textures, and thousands
of details that compose it are revealed.
His works have been exhibited in galleries in Tel Aviv and acquired for private
collections.
